Enki Bilal | A Master of Visual Narratives

Enki Bilal is another great artist whom I have followed for a good 15 years. His works are not only unique in their own way, but also incredibly profound. I like his drawing style, his way of seeing the world. For me, he is one of the greats in his field.

Synopsis:
The documentary „Enki Bilal, Souvenirs du Futur“ (2021), directed by Christian Guyonnet, delves into the creative universe of renowned comic book artist and filmmaker Enki Bilal. The film offers an intimate look at Bilal’s artistic process, particularly focusing on the development of the second part of his graphic novel „Bug,“ which portrays a future world paralyzed by a massive computer malfunction.
